David Long has dedicated his career to showcasing the beauty of Ireland, starting as a travel agent before transitioning into a tour and coach operator in the 1990s. His passion for transport and tourism led him to acquire his first bus in 1996, followed by a second in 1998. In 2005, he expanded his expertise by launching a chauffeured tour company, providing personalized experiences across every county in Ireland.
As a seasoned driver and guide, David has had the privilege of welcoming countless travelers, from everyday adventurers to esteemed guests, including presidents and distinguished visitors. His deep knowledge and love for Ireland’s landscapes, history, and culture make every journey memorable.
In 2019, inspired by a conversation with a good American friend, David founded
Ireland Virtual Tours, bringing the magic of Irish travel to a global audience through immersive online experiences. With decades of experience and a lifelong passion for storytelling, David continues to share the wonders of Ireland with travelers near and far.
